From the comments of Kele, Chung Leong and Kah Thiam it is obvious that there s frustration all round about the glacial pace of progress in organizing the reunion.
Can I suggest that someone take charge, delegate duties and set deadlines against all delegated tasks? I know that Kok Chan initiated the idea and credit should go to him for that but if the reality is that it is a bitch to have anything done if he is not plugged in to the Net.
I think we should agree that the criteria for the organizer should be that he is :
- Plugged in on the net, so that we can all be updated of developments through this blog or through e-mail
- Either someone based in Malaysia but in contact with Kok Chan(or whoever else in Taiping with an internet connection )
So any takers? We need some leadership here.

as of now i think kok chan is still unplugged. but that is not a main issue as i can update him when i go back to taiping twice monthly. i think what is disappointing is the lack of response from you guys out there. like i said earlier, we need commitment from you guys esp those who visit this blog regularly.so a show of hands pls

It is understandable there are not too many brave hearts among us that would stick up our hand to lead the show. As Kah Thiam has put it; Its the lack of response that is sad. If we can just spread the word around and get more to sign up, I’m sure there will be a bit more enthusiasm. Hopefully, we’ll get a bit of critical mass going.
