OK guys, bear with me on this. As you can see later on that this is the very first time I’m doing this. I’m posting our class photos from Form 2 and Form 5. (Photos courtesy of Tuan Lin). You may not be in the picture, sorry, can’t please everyone. Yeah, I’m going to ‘publish’ this and see what it looks like, (hopefully the photos are successfully uploaded) and then you’re going to get to other photos which I have

Berinda Singh just responded to my sms. Hope to see you there brader and pass this on to the others whom you frequently meet,…… and Choon Wan, I know you told me that you are attending but everone wants to see your response and also “someone will miss you terribly is you are not there with your latest fruits arrangement”. Hmmm, I wonder what we can expect from that. well…………

Some small changes

I’ve added a page to list and update those who have confirmed that they will attend the reunion. At the same time I’ve taken up the names list on the right hand column.

This is to make it easier for my other partners in crime, Woon Yih and Kah Thiam, to edit and post information. If any one else of you out there want to be contributors and help to upkeep this blog please let me (hock chuan) know and  I’ll sign you guys up.

So it now looks like we have 30 people who have signed up. I think we can get more people if all of us try to get classmates we know to sign up.

How many of you are on Skype?

I think Skype is a good way to get in touch. I had a good chat with Chung Leong in Vietman the other day over Skype. If any of you are on it, post your Skype id as a comment here so we can all stay in touch. Mine is ong_maverick

They’re trickling in

Thanks to Kah Tiam mainly we’ve had a few more people sign up for the reunion, making a total of 18 so far. Still a small number so of the rest of you can sign up our organizers can feel easier proceeding to make the arrangements.

The latest signups are: Soon Hock, Aik Guan, Chung Leong, Cheng Siong and Chin Boon, But where are the rest?
Where’s Choon Wan, Kana, Siva and the rest of the lawyer gang? Can someone corral them before they bill their clients too much.

Also Justin, Chai Owi, Ally, Vincent Chang?

Can someone who’s in Kl contact some of these people? It be great if we can get a big group attending.

Those of you not familiar with signing up: you need only to go to the Signed Up page and post a comment with {your name} signed up in it. Either Woon Yih or I will update it.

I’m also looking for old photographs to post in this blog so if any of you have them, ask your kids to scan them for you and send it over. I’ll post them. If you have captions, fine. If not, I’ll have some fun with them.

Time to stop NATO (No Action Talk Only)

From the comments of Kele, Chung Leong and Kah Thiam it is obvious that there s frustration all round about the glacial pace of progress in organizing the reunion.

Can I suggest that someone take charge, delegate duties and set deadlines against all delegated tasks? I know that Kok Chan initiated the idea and credit should go to him for that but if the reality is that it is a bitch to have anything done if he is not plugged in to the Net.

I think we should agree that the criteria for the organizer should be that he is :

1. Plugged in on the net, so that we can all be  updated of developments through this blog or through e-mail
2.  Either someone based in Malaysia but in contact with Kok Chan(or whoever else in Taiping with an internet connection )

So any takers? We need some leadership here.
