OK guys, so far only 13 of us have signed up/paid for the reunion. Their names are on the right column. I have updated it according to the “Signed up” page and have replaced the “Roll Call” instead. So if you have not signed up or have signed up but you name has not appeared, go to the “Signed Up” page and follow instructions. If you have difficulty doing that just e-mail me at ong@maverick.co.id

Would you buy a used car from these guys?
Posted by unspun on September 24, 2006
Came across this photo of a reunion we had some years ago and I thought I should share it with your guys. if you have incriminating photos, such as Choon Wan in a “fruit arrangement” session, or some photos you just want to share, you can e-mail me at ong@maverick.co.id or Woon Yih at wyhwang@gmail.com and we’ll be happy to embarrass our old pals on your behalf.

If you do not know who these fine gentelmen are in the photo, you need prescription lenses or some ginko to enhance the memory of an aging mind.

Anyone in charge?
Posted by unspun on September 12, 2006
Glad to see more of you using this blog for communicating. But apart from Kah Tiam, no one has volunteered for positions. So my suggestion is this: Can Kah Tiam and Alan Leong please take charge as you guys seem to be on the ground and update us on what’s happening and, if possible, who should be doing what?

So who’s doing what?
Posted by unspun on September 5, 2006
From the number of hits for this blog it would seem that you guys have begun to visit this blog for information an communication. This is great, but I think everyone is wondering who will be doing what.
So far, all I know is that Tong Kok Chan is the organizer, except that he’s too busy pushing drugs to be on the net and inform us. Alan Leong Wye Loong has been somewhat mysteriously appointed as the whipper, in charge of whipping Kok Chan if things go smoothly.
I think we need to organize ourselves better if we are to have a good time there. many of us will be traveling long distances to get to Taiping so I think if we can organize things well, we’ll have a great time.
Here’s what I suggest:
1. On ground organizer: Tong Kok Chan
2. Overall Organizer: to be filled in but that someone has to be in Malaysia, is in touch with Kok Chan and be ON the net, at least an e-mail.
3. Accomodations: need a name
4. Entertainment: Need someone to compile old photos, stories etc.
5. Documentation: do we want to arrange someone to take photos/videos of the event
6. Updating contacts list: Vincent Chang seems a natural
7. Blog keepers: Ong Hock Chuan and Hwang Woon Yih
Any nominations and any other suggestions?

Help Needed
Posted by unspun on September 1, 2006
Help! I need one or two of you who are mildly tech savvy and have some time to spare to help maintain this blog. In the meantime can Vincent Chang do us the favor of keeping the most updated mailing list since he has done such a good job so far?
if you can help in hosting this blog, let me know by posting a comment here or by e-mailing me ong@maverick.co.id.

White Ghost sighted
Posted by unspun on September 1, 2006
Leong Hin has conducted a seance and has made contact with White Ghost, Lee Choy Huat. No details, so can Choy Huat post something here to tell us what you’ve been doing all this while?
ChaiOwi from the wilds of Cambodia has tracked down Ang Kah Tiam. Again no info as to what upstanding gentlemen they have become in their lives. Can someone enlighten us?

Leong Hin is in touch with Chew Chai Owi, whose house in Barrack Road? that we used to hang out in front of.Chai Owi’s message:
Didn’t know you guys are all in contact. I had originally planned to fly back on 9th Dec so the timing of this re-union is just perfect. If any of you guys should land up in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, pls do give me a call, my hp no. is 855-16-814732 or drop me an email before hand.
Hock Chuan’s located Yap Kok Wah in Sydney, as a director for an airchitecture firm called Design Inc. He’s also located Peter Choe in Perth. Hopefully, they’ll all make it to the reunion.
